Earlier today, Britvic announced the purchase of Brazilian soft drinks company Empresa Brasileira de Bebidas e Alimentos (EBBA). The UK-headquartered soft drinks producer will pay BRL545.4m (GBP113.6m) for EBBA, with a completion date planned for late September. According to Britvic, Brazil is the sixth largest soft drinks market and the largest concentrates market, globally.
