A recently granted patent (Publication Number: US11890245B2) discloses a novel skin care device designed to enhance skincare routines. The device comprises a main body and a head part connected to it, featuring a housing with an open upper portion that includes an accommodation space, first and second electrode parts, and a plurality of light emitting elements. The cover part shields the open upper region of the housing and includes through holes corresponding to the electrode parts, allowing them to protrude through with a convex curved surface. The second electrode part surrounds the first electrode part, with both having contact portions and connecting portions that create recesses between them. The device is designed to provide galvanic, high frequency, or microcurrents for skincare benefits.

Furthermore, the skin care device includes unique features such as annular electrode parts spaced apart from each other, with the second electrode part having a larger diameter than the first. The contact portions of the electrode parts are exposed to the outside, facing each other and spaced apart, with contact surfaces featuring a convex curved surface. The device also incorporates a vibration member for low or medium-frequency energy generation and light emitting elements emitting light in various wavelength bands. The cover part, which can be translucent or opaque, allows the transmission of light emitted by the elements. Additionally, a sealing member is included between the housing and the cover part, and the head part is detachable from the main body for convenience and versatility in skincare routines.
