Sales and Related Occupations drive consumer industry hiring activity

Of the industry's total hiring activity, the highest number of new job postings were for Sales and Related Occupations, which accounted for 13% of the total new job postings in Q4 2023 and were down by 12% year-on-year. Second highest were Management Occupations, which accounted for 13% and rise by 8% year-on-year, and third highest were Office and Administrative Support Occupations, which were 19% of the new job postings and 20% higher year-on-year.

Top five companies in consumer industry accounted for 34% of hiring activity

The highest number of jobs were posted by PepsiCo with 548, followed by LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton with 248, while the highest increase was at Body Shop International at 38%.
