Notably, big data was one of the most frequently referenced themes in Q2 2023, ranking highest in terms of mentions, ahead of cloud and digitalization, according to GlobalData.
Of the top leading companies in the consumer industry, Haier Smart Home had the greatest increase in references for big data in Q2 2023, compared with the previous quarter. GlobalData identified 16 big data-related sentences in the company's filings - 0.4% of all sentences - and a decrease of 11% in Q2 2023 compared with Q2 2022. Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group’s mentions of big data dropped by 7% to 14 and China Resources Beer (Holdings)’s by 33% to 4 and Kraft Heinz’s by 100% to 2 and Reckitt Benckiser Group’s by 86% to 2.
