
Bodega Brands has expanded the footprint of its Hecho Tequila Soda RTD.
The Canadian company announced this week that, in addition to its home market, the 5% abv brand is now available in California, Michigan, Tennessee, Missouri, Florida, Nevada and Massachusetts. The expansion is being handled by a range of national distributors including Mexcor International and Breakthru Beverage Group.
Additionally, Bodega Brands plans to announce further distribution agreements for these states in the coming weeks.
Necho Tequila Soda can be purchased at selected on-premise locations throughout the states, as well as through the company’s online store at an SRP of US$11.99 (CAD15.12) per 4x35cl can pack.
“We are excited about the positive response and brand validation we’ve seen thus far, and attribute the success to the quality Hecho Tequila Soda brings to the RTD category and the global drinks industry,” said founder & CEO Zack Lister. “In a rapidly growing space, we feel that we are poised for growth given the brand’s position within the context of the RTD and premium Tequila markets”.
Last month, Beam Suntory unveiled a hard seltzer extension of its Hornitos Tequila brand in the US in the hope of both categories’ continued success.
