Mark Anthony Brands has outlined plans to build a US$250m production facility in an effort to keep up with demand for hard seltzer White Claw.
The company said last week the new site will be in Glendale, Arizona. The facility is expected to be operational in June.
“In a race against time, to meet the explosive demand for White Claw Hard Seltzer, the new 916,000 square foot facility will be up and running in under seven months,” the company said.
The facility will produce White Claw Hard Seltzer and Mike’s Hard Lemonade.
White Claw is the leader in the fast-growing US hard seltzer market. In a BrewBound report last November, Mark Anthony founder & CEO Anthony von Mandl said the company planned to boost production facilities for the seltzer brand as supply cannot keep up with demand.
“We could sell and ship today 20m cases we don’t have, out the door,” von Mandl told Beer Marketer’s Insights, BrewBound reported.
