Germany’s Krombacher has taken its non-alcoholic beer to the tap by rolling out Krombacher 0.0% Pils on draught.
In a statement today (26 May), the brewer said the alcohol-free pilsner – already sold in bottles and cans – will be available “fresh from the tap”.

It said the draught push is intended to position Krombacher as an “innovation driver” amid “growing demand” for non-alcoholic beer in the market.
Krombacher Gastronomie sales managing director Manuel Schulz said: “We can clearly see that more and more people want to enjoy more consciously – and are therefore choosing non-alcoholic options more often, especially in the hospitality sector.
“That’s exactly where we’re starting: as one of the first breweries in Germany, we’re offering our Krombacher 0.0% Pils fresh on tap on a larger scale. This creates new, naturally refreshing moments of enjoyment without alcohol – right on site in restaurants or at the bar.”
The initial launch will focus on a selected number of hospitality venues, and the stadium beer stands at Arminia Bielefeld.
Krombacher said the roll-out will be backed by “targeted communication and activation measures”. The activity will include creator partnerships, radio advertising across North Rhine–Westphalia and a series of sampling initiatives.
Krombacher brewery trained brewmaster and beer sommelier Marc Hütwohl said: “Our Krombacher 0.0% Pils on tap impresses with its naturally refreshing, full-bodied taste that is in no way inferior to a classic pilsner – and enables this alcohol-free moment of enjoyment on an equal footing.”
The move follows the expansion of Krombacher Brewery’s non-alcoholic range with a third variety in January. The brewer introduced Krombacher 0.0% Herb to offer a “naturally refreshing and pleasantly bitter taste” with zero alcohol.
Alongside 0.0% Pils and 0.0% Herb, Krombacher’s non-alcoholic range also includes 0.0% Radler.
In 2025, the company reported “stable results” despite a “difficult market environment”, citing continued low consumer spending, restraints in the retail sector and pressure in the catering industry.
The Krombacher umbrella brand produced 5.702 million hectolitres (hl) in 2025, up 0.5% year-on-year, while non-alcoholic beverages accounted for around 40% of the group’s total portfolio by volume.
Total sales for the financial year slipped 0.2% to 7.553 million hl.
