
The proportion of beverage companies hiring for ‘cybersecurity’-related positions remained steady last month, according to recently-released figures.
A total of 38.7% of the companies included in GlobalData’s analysis were recruiting for at least one position in the area in February. The figure matches the level for cybersecurity-related jobs a year earlier. In January this year, the rate was slightly higher, at 44.1%.

Of all advertised vacancies in the global beverage industry in February, 2.2% were linked to cybersecurity, the highest monthly figure recorded in the past year and an increase compared to the 1% rate in the same month of 2021.
However, beverage companies are hiring for cybersecurity jobs at a lower rate than the average for all companies in GlobalData’s job analytics database, which stood at 3.1% in February.
