Matthew Clark Cider is to launch an advertising campaign in the lead-up to Christmas. The promotional push is based around three 30-second radio adverts each for Blackthorn and Gaymer’s Olde English ciders.


The adverts started airing this week and feature in targeted campaigns in different regions. Blackthorn will be the focus in the south-west and Scotland, while Olde English will be focusing on the Midlands.


In a statement, Kevin Wilkins, marketing director for Matthew Clark Cider, said: “Through a relatively modest start to a broader initiative this activity is a clear signal that Matthew Clark will invest in the cider category.”
