Trading on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in the shares of Chinese brewer, Guangdong Brewery Holdings, has been suspended at the company’s request.
The shares have been suspended pending an announcement by the company with regard to the approach to the board of Guangdong Investment
Limited (GDI) by GDH Limited regarding the possible acquisition of various assets of GDI including a shareholding of 72% in the issued share capital of the company.
