The US division of the French drinks group Pernod Ricard is to launch a new TV, print and radio advertising campaign for Chivas Regal in the fall of this year. The ads will run in key markets across the globe.
Leading with the central theme ‘This is the Chivas Life,’ the advertisements depict experiences that highlight the benefits of shared enjoyment with Chivas Regal and encourage consumers to make the most of life.
Chris Willis, vice president marketing for Chivas Regal in the US said: “We have identified a distinctive territory for Chivas Regal, with universal appeal and long-term relevance, encouraging consumers to choose Chivas as the smooth and easily appreciated drink of choice, long-established as the catalyst for any social occasion.”
Appearing in key markets worldwide, the advertising targets mostly male, whisky drinkers and begins appearing in October issues of GQ, Businessweek, Money, Fortune, Sports Illustrated, Golf Magazine, Playboy, Forbes, Men’s Journal and Road and Track.
The television ads will appear on cable networks FX, Fox Sports Net, Golf Channel, OLN, Bloomberg and Court TV.
Hispanic print executions will also begin appearing in October in magazines including OYE, Motor Trend en Español, LOFT, Hispanic Business, Discover en Español and Architectural Digest en Español.
