By GlobalDataThe Spring 2010 release is Kilchoman’s third single malt bottling since it opened its distillery on Islay last year.
It is matured for three years in a combination of fresh and refill Bourbon barrels and then finished in active Oloroso Sherry butts. Added to the vatting were four refill Bourbon barrels, with the water for reducing the Scotch coming from a spring on Octofad Farm, on the Rhinns of Islay.
