The French wines and spirits group, Vranken Monopole, reported turnover of €151.4m for 2002, 15.4% up on 2001.

The company stated that this figure did not include any contribution from the Pommery brand which it acquired last year and was integrated into the company from the beginning of June. Including Pommery, sales at Vranken rose by 52.9% to €200.7m in 2002.
