The Canadian brewer, Molson Inc., has dismissed media speculation that it was “open to bids,” adding that “under no circumstances” was it considering selling the company.
The brewer said the report in the Globe and Mail which followed a presentation to investors by the company’s CEO and president, Daniel O’Neill, “misinterpreted the intent of the communication and as a result is misleading to shareholders.”
