According to reports in Portugal, the Portuguese soft drinks company, Sumol, is to invest €25m ($27m) in the development of a soft drinks production plant in Angola.

The plant is to be located in the industrial region of Viana, near Luanda. It will have an annual production capacity of 50m litres and is scheduled to be completed in 2003.
