PepsiCo has said it is pleased by consumers’ reaction to its new-look Gatorade, which saw volume growth accelerate in the third quarter.
The CFO of the soft drinks giant, Hugh Johnston, said on the firm’s earnings call yesterday (7 October) that Gatorade’s transformation in 2010 – which centres on innovation with the new G Series range, and the expansion of its retail footprint – has boosted volumes.
