The US-based Pasco Beverage Company has sold its refrigerated orange juice and chilled beverage business to the juice and food company Johanna Foods, for an undisclosed amount.
“The acquisition of Pasco’s chilled business by Johanna Foods is consistent with recent consolidations in the manufacturing, warehousing and retailing industries, including the closing of the Minute Maid plant in Hightstown, New Jersey, and the asset liquidations of Fleming Companies, Inc.”, said Robert A. Facchina, president and CEO of Johanna Foods.
