Turkey’s privatisation authority has extended the deadline for bids for its alcohol and tobacco operations until October 24.
The original closing date for offers for the state-owned alcohol firm, Alkollu Ickiler Sanayi ve Ticareti AS, which is part of the state-owned alcohol and tobacco monopoly, Tekel, was September 26.
Tekel said the deadline had been extended on account of significant interest from potential investors.
