The UK spirits producer, Blavod Black Vodka, has said that it is in talks regarding a possible all-share acquisition of a spirits company. Blavod said if it went through the deal would involve the introduction of a significant new shareholder to the company.

Blavod said that the discussions were at a very preliminary stage and there was no assurance that any transaction would result. The company is expected to make a further announcement in due course.
