Blog: Andy MortonAre you a beer geek? Take the Brewdog quiz and find out

Andy Morton | 28 June 2017

Brewdog, the Scottish craft brewer, likes to claim its drinkers are some of the most knowledgeable around. The company’s AGM is something of an open-bar affair where shareholders get to sample the latest beers and swap tips on what exotic hops are currently floating their pint glasses.

Now Brewdog is going one step further with the launch of the inaugural Beer Geek Awards, an event it hails as a global hunt for Europe’s most passionate beer fans.

The awards will have seven categories, including ‘Beer Bar Hopper Geek’, ‘Beer Blogging Geek’, ‘Beer Social Media Geek’ and ‘Beer Scholar Geek, and the winners will be chosen through an online beer quiz.

Unfortunately, entrance is barred to those who make a living through the beer industry, which puts the just-drinks team, and many of its readers, out of the running. But the quiz is still fun to do, so give it a go here.
