The Chinese brewer, Beijing Yanjing Brewery Co., has said it is planning to spend around CNY200m ($24m) on acquisitions next year.

The company said it plans to buy several smaller breweries. Yanjing, the third largest brewer in China, has spent some CNY1.1 billion ($132m) on acquisitions over the past two years, buying 14 other breweries.

However, Yanjing, which is the dominant beer force in the Chinese capital, said it is not looking for a tie-up with a foreign partner.
