Xavier Flouret Wines, a new premium brand of wines imported by Cognac One, has been launched in the US.

Flouret has partnered with wineries from several countries to develop his French Blonde 2006 wines, the company said today (22 July). The bottles are identifiable with their prominent 'X' front label. The back label provides a photo and bio of the winemaker, details on the vineyard, style, and when to drink, and food pairing recommendations.

The portfolio comprises of ten white, rosé and red wines. Currently available are: Nationale 7 (2006 Côtes de Provence Rosé), Fé (2001 Rioja Reserva Red) Rouge Noir (2006 Menetou-Salon Red), French Blonde (2007 Sancerre), and La Victoire (2005 Bordeaux Red).

Suggested retail prices range from US$15 to $29.

From September, five additional wines will be offered, with 15 more wines planned for introduction in the next twelve months.
