The South African wine company Winecorp has decided to shut down its European operations, which are based in London. The company will instead service its customers from its base in South Africa. Private Liquor Brands, who already handle the distribution of the Spier brand in the UK and who have investments in the Winecorp business, will now also take on responsibility for the Longridge and Savanha ranges of wines in the UK. The rest of Winecorp's global sales network will now be managed directly from South Africa.
