Richard Shell, chairman and founder of, today announced that the company has entered into agreements to receive $7 million in equity financing. Sabate SA, the world's second largest cork manufacturer, and Diosos SA, the largest cooperage company in the world, have joined's initial investor group to launch the company's global B2B wine marketplace. In addition to funding, the new European partners will provide immediate access to their international client bases and will share technical content and expertise.
