Scotch whisky group Whyte and Mackay Ltd yesterday reported a slight fall in full year EBITDA to £27.6m. The company blamed an increased strategic marketing investment in the group's brands for the fall. After an exceptional charge of £17.4m, resulting from its restructuring programme, the company made an operating profit of £2.3m.
