Westons Cider has given a packaging refresh to its Stowford Press cider brand in the UK.

The new "simplified" design for Stowford Press that is being launched in the UK

The “simplified” design aims to “better represent the brand’s premium mainstream positioning” and its heritage, the company said. The new look is rolling out across off-trade UK channels from this month in 50cl bottles, and 50cl and 44cl cans. 

Ian Lewis, Westons' head of marketing said: “We were keen to evolve the brand’s packaging to reflect both its core credentials and premium position within the UK market. The new contemporary look is designed to also reinforce and emphasise the quality of the cider inside.” 

The relaunch coincides with major marketing activity for the brand, which includes a TV ad launched in May.
