Russian production of vodka it is estimated will total 135m decaliters this year, a rise of 28% compared to the last year, according to figures in a report from the country's Economic Development and Trade Ministry. In 2001 vodka production jumped 8.4% to 131m decaliters. The reports said it believed Russia's vodka and ethylene output would reach a total of 60m decaliters and 33m decaliters in the first half of 2002, up 4.7% and 8.6% respectively.
