California’s Vintage Wine Estates has made a number of new appointments, including the promotion of Lesley Larson to the post of marketing VP.

Larson, who joined the US wine company in May last year as director of marketing, was praised for her "creativity, expertise and strategic thinking" by company president Pat Roney. Meanwhile, Stephanie Peachey takes up the role of senior director of marketing – direct to consumer, and Debra Eagle is named senior director of business development, with all three reporting to Terry Wheatley, executive VP of sales & marketing.

Vintage Wine Estates also announced that Claire Walsh has been appointed director of wine clubs and customer services, reporting to Peachey.

Viansa Winery winemaker Marty Peterson is moving to take up the job of winemaker at Cosentino in the Napa Valley, and is succeeded at Viansa by Amy Ludovissy.
