Chilean producer Viña Ventisquero has launched a 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Rosé to join Merlot Rosé in its Yali Wetland range.

The wine is made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and is sourced from Viña Ventisquero’s vineyards in Peralillo, Colchagua Valley, in Chile. The grapes are grown in the shade of the vines to keep the alcohol content lower.

For every bottle sold in the UK a donation goes to the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust.

The company said the wine is being launched in time for peak rosé season.
