Vallo Saft has completed the acquisition of its German competitor Wink Group. The Danish fruit juice producer signed the closing agreement for the acquisition of 100% of Wink Group from German Wink Verwaltungs GmbH and Anton Franz Wink yesterday (3 January).

Wink specialises in production of fruit juice concentrate. It has plants in Poland, Romania and Hungary and offers logistics and other support services in the field of concentrated fruit juice production.

The company generated €43.5m (US$58.5m) turnover for fiscal 2003/04 with a staff of 200.

Vallo Saft is a subsidiary of Austrian sugar and starch company Agrana Zucker und Staerke.
