Carlsberg#;s Turkish subsidiary, Carlsberg Turk Tuborg has targeted a turnover of US$100m in 2002, a rise of 25% compared to the previous year, company director Ercument Berilgen said.

The brewer generated sales worth $80m in 2001, up 2.5% from the previous year, and is seeking a 5.5% pct rise in 2002.

The Turkish beer market totalled 715m litres in 2001, down from 720m litres in 2000, Berilgen said.
