According to a report in the Chinese newspaper, Shanghai Daily, the country's largest brewer, Tsingtao Brewery Co., expects to sell more than 100 tons of wine for the full year following its entry into the wine market in late-September.

Tsingtao is one of many Chinese drinks producers which have moved into the wine market in the past year or so, in a bid to tap the sector's undoubted growth potential. The total wine market in China grew by around 16% last year.
