Tropical Beverage Inc., a producer and distributor of value-added water-based products, today announced that it has decided to focus its attention on building its own brands. The decision will mean a shift in company resources towards launching and promotion of brands that the company has developed over the past few months.

"The bottom line is that this makes good sense for our investors and for the company as a whole. The margins are better and the company builds its image better with the success of its own brands," said Chris Lotito, COO for Tropical. "We have done well regionally, but are seeking to build national exposure. Our plans are to build the distribution network, and launch the products systematically over the next few months. Initial test reactions have been phenomenal, and we intend to announce the first shortly," he added.
