Treasury Wine Estates has added two new wines to its 19 Crimes brand in the UK. The first white wine, called Chard, is a Chardonnay. The Uprising, meanwhile, is a Shiraz/Cabernet/Grenache blend, which spends 30 days ageing in French oak rum barrels.

19 Crimes, which was launched in the UK in 2015, is aimed at male Millennial consumers.

"19 Crimes Chard and The Uprising further honour the history made by the thousands of British men and women who were punished by transportation to Australia, and the culture they built," said TWE marketing director for Europe Kirstie McCosh. "It is great to be able to satisfy customer demand for a white wine – given the thirst that male Millennials have for white wines. Meanwhile with The Uprising we are tapping into the growing consumer demand for barrel-aged wines."
