The distribution bunk-up with Netherlands-based De Kuyper adds another European market to the German vodka's footprint. In mid-2017, Proof Drinks started distributing Three Sixty in the UK.

When contacted by just-drinks, a spokesperson for Schwarze & Co said the group had lined up an earlier agreement with another – unnamed – distributor in the Netherlands. "This distributor closed down during the introduction phase of the brand," the spokesperson said. "Therefore, this marks the official launch of Three Sixty vodka in The Netherlands.

"Vodka is growing as a category and a main ingredient for many popular cocktails," said De Kuyper CEO Mark de Witte. "Following our vision to 'Own the Cocktail', we believe that Three Sixty Vodka adds additional consumer attention to our portfolio."

The spokesperson also claimed that Three Sixty has grown to become Germany's second-biggest-selling vodka in the standard price segment and boasts larger volume sales than Diageo's Smirnoff brand.
