Three Ships Whisky, South Africa's only locally-produced whisky, has launched a fourth label in the range.

A total of 14,400 bottles of "Bourbon Cask Finish" was launched this week onto the local market, becomeing the second product in the range to be made purely from raw materials sourced in South Africa.
It is the first full South African blend whisky, aged for three years in barrels then matured for a second period in Bourbon barrels imported from the US.

The whisky market in South Africa is reported to have grown by 6% over the past year, from about 18.4m litres to 19.5m litres.
