The UK off-license company First Quench has announced the appointment of three new managing director roles.

Mark Turner is joining the company as managing director of property with immediate effect and has already been instrumental in developing a clear vision on the way forward for the property unit of First Quench.

Philip Sellwood has been appointed managing director of commercial and has extensive experience in trading, buying and procurement. Sellwood also has a number of non-executive directorships.

Managing director for retail operations will be former retail operations director for Signet plc, Steve Headington. Headington was previously responsible for the H Samuel chain as well as managing retail services, corporate business and field human resources for the UK jewellery division.

First Quench's CEO, David Williams, said: "We are putting together an outstanding team to implement our business plan."

He continued: "These appointments not only underline our confidence in the long term viability and profitability of First Quench, but also bring our commercial aspirations a step closer to reality."
