The Scotch whisky producer said today the Sweden-based Nigab will handle brands including Glen Scotia, Loch Lomond and Littlemill across Nordics Travel Retail. The deal aims to expand Loch Lomond's Nordic's footprint outside of its core Sweden market following the launch of a Travel Retail-exclusive range.

Loch Lomond, which has undergone a rebranding since its takeover by a private-equity group in 2014, unveiled its new GTR portfolio at the Tax Free World Association (TFWA) exhibition in Cannes earlier this year. Loch Lomond was previously owned by the Bulloch family but was sold to Exponent two years ago for a reported multi-million pound fee. This year it hired William Grant & Son's former European Travel Retail head, André de Almeida, to lead its GTR push.

Today, Almeida said Nigab will play a "fundamental role" in the launch of its new range.
