The Coca-Cola Co has released a new TV commercial for its namesake brand, with different variations for different markets.

The 30-second 'A Coke for Christmas' advert aims to celebrate unsung heroes, the company said. Financial details of the campaign were not disclosed.

"For decades, Coca-Cola has brought happiness and refreshment to the holiday season," said Melissa Palacios, associate brand manager, Coca-Cola Trademark, Coca-Cola North America. "We're embracing the spirit of unsung holiday heroes through our TV creative."

Coca-Cola also outlined plans to release limited edition packs featuring the brand's polar bear as well as the Coca-Cola Santa. The US will also see the return of its Holiday Caravan - which will visit around 25 cities across the country.

The new Christmas advert adheres to the company's One Brand initiative launched earlier this year, with Diet Coke, Coke Life, Coke Zero and classic Coke featured in the same commercial.
