The North American unit of The Coca-Cola Co has joined forces with POS connectivity platform Omnivore to offer foodservice customers access to a digital marketplace of restaurant technologies.

The marketplace, the result of a year-long collaboration between the companies and following Coca-Cola's investment in Omnivore in late-2018, offers tech solutions for front-of-house, back-of-house and outside-of-house. The two companies aim to take the guesswork out of finding digital solutions for restaurant operators, vetting the leading foodservice technologies on the market.

The result, they claim, allows for "easy and affordable integration" between the technologies and a restaurant's POS system, thus reducing the amount of time, money and resources that restaurants have to spend.

"In the 21st Century, combining our expertise in foodservice and digital to offer tangible technology solutions provides the most value for our restaurant partners, who always welcome an edge to increase their revenue," said Billy Koehler, director of digital & payment platforms for national foodservice & on-premise marketing at Coca-Cola North America.

Launching in September, the new marketplace is free to access for Coca-Cola customers.
