Coca-Cola appointed Waller in February

The Coca-Cola Co board has confirmed the election of Kathy Waller as CFO two months after her appointment was announced.

Waller, 55, who replaces Gary Fayard, was also elected executive VP at a directors' board meeting yesterday (24 April). Her promotion was first revealed in February when Fayard announced he was to retire after more than a decade as CFO.

Waller, who joined Coca-Cola in 1987, was previously the firm’s finance and controller VP.

At the same board meeting, directors elected Larry Mark, who replaces Waller, as a company VP, effective immediately.

Meanwhile, the board declared a regular quarterly dividend of US$0.30 per common share. The dividend is payable 1 July to shareowners of record as of 16 June.

Coca-Cola saw its sales and profits slip in first-quarter results, released last week.
