The UK firm represents 20 brands including English sparkling wine as well as UK spirits, craft beer and cider. A portfolio of 12 sparkling wines from Digby Fine English, Hush Heath Estate, Bolney Wine Estate and Camel Valley as well as the Pinkster and Boxer gin brands will be the first to roll out via New Jersey-based Vine Street's network of distributors.

"As the reputation of English wine attracts ever more global attention, the US is clearly a priority market for exports," said Julia Trustram-Eve, marketing director of trade association English Wine Producers. "This deal is a significant milestone, as it will be the largest portfolio of English wines available in any international market."

The British Bottle Co will also set up a US subsidiary and appoint a country manager in order to support marketing activities for the brands.
