UK tea company Tetley has been told to ditch health claims from its latest advertisements. The news puts a spanner in the works of Tetley's £15m rebranding of its tea drink. In January 2002, Tetley axed its 'Tea Folk' advertisements in favour of a 'healthy living' branding approach. Now Tetley must be pondering whether to bring back Sydney and Gaffer, particularly as the EU aims to toughen its stance on health claims.
