Tata Global Beverages' water division and the makers of Sparkling Ice have launched a Himalayan mineral water in the US market.

Himalayan Natural Mineral Water will launch first in Southern California and Chicago
Tata Waters and Talking Rain Beverage Co said yesterday that Himalayan Natural Mineral Water will be available in selected retailers across Chicago and Southern California as well as nationally, via Amazon. The news comes eight months after the pair announced an initial tie up, saying last August that the agreement will also "open doors for possible further expansion for Sparkling Ice into international markets".
"Himalayan Natural Mineral Water is one of the first premium Indian fast-moving consumer goods brands to target the broader American audience and we look forward to working with Talking Rain to establish a strong market presence," said Stephen Rice, president, Tata Waters.
According to the company, Himalayan Natural Mineral Water is sourced directly from the Himalayas. The water is filtered for 20 years through the mountains until it arrives in an aquifer 400 feet below ground.
Himalayan Natural Mineral Water is available in the US in 50cl (MSRP US$1.59), 4x50cl pack (MSRP $5.69), and 1-litre (MSRP $2.39) sizes.
