Tata Global Beverages said Ghosh will be the new CEO at its Starbucks JV

In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange late last month, the board of Tata Starbucks said that Ghosh will assume the role from the start of this year. Ghosh replaces Avani Davda, who has stepped down to pursue other opportunities.

After joining Starbucks in mid-2008, Ghosh moved up from his initial regional director role to his latest position of regional VP at the end of 2008.

Davda was instrumental in setting up Tata Starbucks in India in October 2012. The coffee company has 70 stores across the country.
