Turkish group Tat Gida Sanayi has agreed to acquire a 50% stake in local juice maker Tedi Icecek from soft drinks firm Maspex-Gmw, according to reports. 

Tat Gida is set to acquire 50,000 Tedi Icecek shares for TRL50,000 (US$24,600) from Poland's Maspex-Gmw to take a lead in Turkey's children's fruit juice market, newswire SeeNews reported yesterday (11 December).  

The deal remains subject to the green light from Turkey's competition authorities, it was reported.
