US zero-calorie sparkling water producer Talking Rain has launched a caffeinated version of its Sparkling Ice brand. Sparkling Ice +Caffeine, which comes in 16oz cans, targets a "surge of consumer demand" for caffeinated products, Talking Rain said. "We wanted to leverage our expertise for making zero-calorie sparkling waters that consumers love with an added boost of caffeine."

The new line was unveiled at the National Association of Convenience Stores Show (NACS) in Las Vegas this week and will roll out across the US from January. The range comprises five flavours: Black Raspberry, Blue Raspberry, Triple Citrus, Strawberry Citrus and Orange Passionfruit. Each 16oz can contains 70mg of caffeine and the range is sugar-free.
