SUN Interbrew is looking to relinquish its stake in Pivoindustriya Primorya. The InBev unit said yesterday (5 July) that it has agreed to sell its 29% holding in the Vladivostok-based brewery to financial-industrial holding Alfa Group.

The value of the stake has not been disclosed.

Speaking to Dow Jones, SUN Interbrew's chief executive, Joseph Strella, said that the move was part of the company's policy to dispose of its non-core assets.

Pivoindustriya Primorya is one of the largest breweries in the Vladivostok region.

No-one from SUN Interbrew was available for comment when contacted by just-drinks.
