Sun Interbrew, the second largest brewer in Russia, is looking to make acquisitions in 2005 as part of a plan to increase market share.

The company's CEO Joseph W Strella said yesterday: "We are going to grow at twice the speed of the market growth - trying to be the best while working on becoming the biggest."

On the question of acquisitions he added: "We need something east of Omsk. We have the targets."

He refused to go into further detail.
