Constellation Europe's Stowells wine brand has been revamped in the UK.
The company's wine portfolio is joined by two sparkling editions for the first time.
Speaking to just-drinks yesterday (18 April), Stowells' marketing manager Nicola Pearson confirmed that the company was spending GBP1m (US$2m) on the revamp. "We've under-invested in Stowells previously." Pearson highlighted that the new design has a more "contemporary feel" to it.
Constellation Europe's vice president of brands marketing Clare Griffiths said: "We know that it is important to recruit new drinkers to the wine category and maintain the interest of current consumers through making it as relevant to their lifestyles."
The Stowells range includes wines from Chile, Italy, France, South Africa, Australia, Spain, Argentina and the US. The sparkling wines, both from Italy and including a white and a rose, will retail at GBP5.99 (US$11.99) per bottle in the UK off-trade.
